Tips for Writing Ads
Make a clear first impression with your title – state exactly what your item or service is, even if it repeats the items' category. You may want to include the brand name, size, colour, and other specifics.
Subtitle
Subtitles are not required, however they may help in making your sale
faster! The subtitle appears in the item listing. Add extra details that
are not included in your item title.
Put some time into your description, and it will help make your sale! Describe your item in detail you may want to include: What the item is made of, colour, dimensions, when it as made, who it was made by, condition, etc. If you are listing a service add as much detail about what the service is that you provide, and why the customer should contact you.
Do not say anything untrue about your item or service.
A picture is worth a thousand words! Items with pictures sell faster.
Photo Tips: Dark pictures don’t help! Make sure your item is well lit; otherwise use image-editing software to lighten your photo. Eliminate clutter from your photo – move as many things out of the way as possible. If possible, use a backdrop for your item. Get close up to your photo, or use a image-editing software to crop your photo so your item takes up the whole frame.
