Respecting our users' privacy is vital to eYardsale. This statement governs our privacy policy with respect to both business and non-business users of the site.
What personal information do you collect?
We collect minimal basic personal information about individuals listing items for sale on our site including: name, phone number, and email address.
As all of our billing is done through Paypal, please read their privacy policy as it applies to your payment information.
If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
What do you use my personal information for?
We may use your email address to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the site. If you do not wish to receive these communications, there is a link contained in the emails to unsubscribe.
We use information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the site, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement.
With whom may this information be shared?
We do not share our mailing lists with anyone. We will not sell your information to anyone. Our mailing list is treated with the utmost security and respect .
Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. How does eYardsale keep personal information secure?
Our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. Personal information about our customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. It is important to note that “perfect security” on the Internet does not exist.

Removal of personal information
Upon your request, we will remove your personal information from our database. To make this request, please contact us via email. Such information will be removed after one billing cycle of your last posting on eYardsale unless your account is in dispute, in which case your information will be kept on file until the dispute is resolved.
We will retain in our files information you have requested to remove in some circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical constraints and the fact that we back up our systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.
Correction of Personal Information
Members may correct their information at any time, by selecting "Personal Information" after logging in to their account.
